Dorna-Candreniis a commune in Suceava Conty. According to the census of 2002, the commune had 3.019 inhabitants.
Surface: 22 129  ha
Inhabitants: 3 019 (Romanians, 22 Rroms, 6 Germans)
History
The first inhabitants of the commune owned lands.
In 1772 all these people came together and came to the conclusion that they own a very large area of land, from Măgura Calului Peak to the Ouşor Mountain.
The legend sais that the name of the commune came from an outlaw, Candruţ, who ran from Transilvania and came here hundreds of years ago. Today many families in the commune have the name Candrea.
In Dorna Candrenilor there are two agrotouristic accredited farms.
