History
The people in this commune love art and folcklore and they have founded the
Ciobănaşul chorus, but also the renoun church chorus. These never miss the main cultural activities in the County, even in the country, during the winter festivals. The main touristic objectives are the flora reservations of
Frumoasa and Ponoare, unique in the country, and Hagigadar Monastery, an Armenian church.
