History
The Saru Dornei commune is mentioned in historical writings of 1630, being situated in the ancient hearth of Tara Dornelor, inhabited by “the succesors of the warriors before 1330, with villagers of legendary and heroic times that differ from those living in plains through habits and presentation“.
The dinamics of the historical events of the households of Saru Domei is complex from the ancient quality of free yeomen to that of nobleman constraintment or comunist regime.
