Stulpicani commune is situated in the middle between Frasin and Ostra, at the crossroads of Negrileasa, Ostra and Gemena rivers

History
The actual commune is mentioned in a document in 1488, in which it is said that the lands have been given by Ştefan cel Mare (Stephan de Great) to the Voroneţ Monastery. Because of the wealth of the region, people came here from many parts of the country (Transilvania, Moldova, Bucovina) but also from some parts of Europe. Incomparison with other localities of the County, in Stulpicani all older and new generations are made worth.
